Cheryl was born and raised in Salt Pond, Long Island, Bahamas. As a child and teenager, she enjoyed the simplicities of island lifestyle such as fishing from rocky seashores, swimming in the warm aquamarine waters, exploring hidden coves and beaches with her friends, searching for sea grapes or finding coconuts to get a refreshing drink of coconut water on a hot summer day. Even though her life at the time was what you might consider as close to perfect, in 1979 she left Long Island to start a career and experience more of the world. Her career began in the Bahamas in the Tourism and Hotel Industry where she worked for sixteen (16) years. She then left the Bahamas and resided and worked in the United States for 10 years in various fields, including real estate law and the cable and television industry.
Cheryl returned to Long Island in 2006 with her husband and a family of pets. She is once again contributing to, and involved in the Tourism field as she now owns and operates a small guest house in Salt Pond providing accommodations for visitors to the island. Cheryl decided to become involved in the Real Estate Industry in order to assist persons in finding their piece of this beautiful island. She can tell you all about what Long Island has to offer and what it takes to own real estate in the Bahamas. Long Island, Bahamas is a hidden gem not yet discovered by many.
