Deadman’s Cay and surrounding areas
Central Long Island consists of small communities where you can see backyard gardening, farming and livestock. There are small mom-and-pop businesses, vacation homes, restaurants, bars, etc. throughout the area. Central includes the area from the Bight to Mangrove Bush. The Deadman’s Cay airport accommodates regular arrivals and departures to and from the island. There is also a medical clinic open from Mon-Friday and on call for emergencies. The NGM Major High School is located in Buckleys and the Elementary school in Deadman’s Cay. These areas are also popular for Bonefishing and sponging.
